Carlos León: a man in need of psychological assistance. AKA "Carlos Leon exposes Chem-trails during Citizens' Communications at Austin City Council on December 15, 2011."
Ahhh, Texas.

Love it or hate it, you have to admit the one thing Texas does really well beyond Czech/Germanbarbeque and highway beautification is Teh Crazy against Teh Gays.

This past Thursday, Austin Mayor Steve Adler and Austin City Council members were treated to a noontime snack of said crazy by a citizen exercizing his constitutional right to speak before the assembled body. Clearly not motivated by reason, paranoid frequent-flyer extraordinaire Carlos León eschewed the manysignificantissues the city of Austin faces in favor of a good old-fashioned dose of hateful complaint.

To be sure, Carlos León is no stranger to the kind of thinking on display at Thursday's meeting. As noted and linked above, he is a regular feature at City Council, offering up a mixed-bag of conspiracy and passive/aggressive religiopolitical hatefullness wholly in line with our Legislative and Executiveleadership. Alex Jones, please pick up the Courtesy Phone. Your party is waiting...

So, what's the hullabaloo? I'll let Mr. León tell you himself:

For those who can't or don't watch teh crazy on Youtube, here's my transcript with bolded emphasis:
Soy Carlos León, y aquí estoy en Austin, Texas on August 13th, 2015 to speak what's right.

First and foremost, gracias a Dios for letting me defend myself. At the July 27th, 2015 Cap Metro Board Meeting celebrating 30 years of service, Mayor Adler was blocking the room's exit. When I walked straight at him with my gear in tow to leave, Mayor Adler opened the door and stepped aside.

However, as I went by Mayor Adler put his hand on my lower back; an unnecessary, uninvited physical contact against me. Under the guise of help, Mayor Adler's sick, flirtatious touchwas actually him trying to posess, control and exert power over me like how homosexual males try to psychologically confuse, flip and control us heterosexual males.

Keep your hands to yourself, Mayor Adler. If you lay a hand on me again, expect me to consider it assault per Texas Penal Code 22.01a3, which legally frees and empowers me to use force to defen myself per Texas Penal Code 9.31 parts II and III.

Mayor Adler, how do you like being attacked without warning with your hands tied behind your back? Legally, you are a public servant, meaning you serve me.

In Jesus' name I pray, amen, thank you Lord, God bless Texas and the Nation at large.

Of course.

Here is the audio file as well, for those who prefer to sheild their eyes.

And lest you think the Youtube comments are devoid of support for teh crazy, behold summore a dat. Because of course Steve Adler is a Jew and therefore the Antichrist.

Summore a teh crazy.
For those not familiar with Steve Adler, and regardless of what locals may think of him as Mayor, this is his legal and community leadership background:
In the mid 1980s, Steve Adler co-founded the Barron, Graham & Adler LLP law firm, later Barron & Adler, LLP. He represented primarily landowners who were dealing with eminent domain and condemnation cases where the government or a private company seek to acquire their property.[7] In addition to this practice, Adler spent most of the 1980s, his early legal career, doing civil rights employment discrimination cases. This work included representing women as well as Hispanic, African American and other minority workers in federal court, before the Equal Employment and Opportunity Commission and on matters filed with the Austin Human Rights Commission.[2][8] He represented clients seeking equal treatment and opportunity in the workplace, redress from sexual harassment and denial of equal pay for equal work.

...Adler has been involved in a number of community organizations in the Greater Austin region. In 2010, he joined the board of GENaustin (formerly Girls Empowerment Network), an organization that provides education and mentoring to middle school girls in local school districts to help them make good choices.[2][10]
From 2009-2012, Adler served as the board chair of the Anti-Defamation League Austin Region where he contributed to the creation of the Austin Hate Crimes Task Force and expanding the No Place for Hate anti-bullying program from just a few schools to over 300 schools throughout Central Texas.[2][6][11][12]
